Sweet's

All the comments I am getting seem to be about Sweets!! Well the holidays are all about how brought the best right? It's not about who cooked the best turkey or ham or prime rib. Sweets are the holidays and getting plates of cookies and candies is the best!! Well I know I haven't posted a recipe for a while but I've been putting my FAVORITE recipes together for you:) so here they are. Enjoy!

Cherry Almond Bark
1(10oz) Jar of Maraschino Cherries
1 (24oz) Pkg of Vanilla Chocolate or Almond Bark
1 cup Chopped Almonds
1/2 teaspoon Almond Flavor

Directions:
Chop the jar of cherries and place on a paper towel to help drain more. Chop almonds. Line a cookie sheet(2) with wax paper. Melt Almond Bark in a heavy sauce pan, stirring constantly. When fully melted add cherries and almonds and LASTLY the almond flavor. Spread on Wax paper. Let cool for 30 minutes. Break at random and store in a ziplock bag in the fridge until needed:)
