Vinyl Disorder

Oh my, how a few words can brighten up a space!!
I was super excited when I was able to do this review for Vinyl Disorder. I had seen so many of their products and  loved the quality. I was able to choose a wall quote for my kitchen.

As you can see I had a lot of help and it only took us maybe ten minutes!
To start your wall saying just peel the backing off. It would be easier to use a table so you can lay it flat (something I did not do but would be very helpful next time) Make sure that your saying does not touch itself!! It is sticky and is VERY hard to peel apart! I know from experience so please use a table:)
You then stick it to your wall. I eyeballed it, which I do with most things but if you like things right on then I recommend that you use a red laser level. Then you have no line to erase.  I then take the scrapper (that they provided which was VERY convenient) and pushed firmly drag it from the middle out. Then I carefully removed the paper. If some of the letters came up while I was removing it I just replaced the paper slightly and rubbed a little and everything peeled off nicely.
So as you can see it is VERY simple, easy, and no mess! I can't wait to order from them again. They have all sorts of things from wall quote to custom decals for the car. Vinyl Disorder has you covered. Their customer service is great to work with and the orders ship quickly!!

So if you have a room or car that needs a little extra fun head over to Vinyl Disorder.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Bringing A Holiday To You
polar pillow
Sponsored by PolarPillow Featured by Celebrate Woman Today
I Moved to a town that get VERY hot in the summer!! I do not sleep very well and have to have a fan blowing on me at night. Then the fan dries my airway and I end up with a sore throat:) I am in need of a Polar Pillow!
Sleep is such an important function for every single one of us. Many diseases actually spring out of lack of sleep. To average 6-7 hours per day of this precious potion called SLEEP, you should discipline yourself to go to bed at approximately the same hour. Make sure you are calm and relaxed.
To do all of the above, sleep specialists recommend to make a transition from your daily activities to your bedtime routine within an hour or so. During that hour, feel free to read, to take a relaxing bath, to meditate or do anything that will calm your whole body, including brain, and allow you to fall asleep faster.
To accommodate you even better, there is a wonderful product in the market called PolarPillow. Its design incorporates the coolness effect into the pillow. People who have a hard time to fall asleep may truly find this pillow as a savior for their own good.
Within the first 10-15 seconds when head touches the pillow surface, a person starts to experience a very light coolness effect that helps to bring body temperature down, thus, allowing an individual to fall asleep faster.
What's important as well is the design of the PolarPillow. It is not bulky. Quite the opposite. The relatively thin layer that this pillow creates, serves one of the best prop-ups for the neck muscles. With a beautifully incorporated coolness effect plus the right thickness, the PolarPillow brings relief to thousands sound sleepers and those with sleep problems and headaches as well.
Today, we decided to offer a PolarPillow as a prize for this Holiday Season's giveaway.
Prize – PolarPillow With Coolness Effect, $99 Value

Neighbor Tradition

When I was little my mother would bake ALL week. She would make bread and candies, and cookies galore!! We loved it but I really never thought of those that she was baking for. I now know that she baked her heart into those goody plates! I remember going to homes and singing a carol and wishing them a Merry Christmas. The smiles are still VERY vivid in my mind.

The one I truly remember is the year that my dad and I went to deliver one last plate. I had never been to this house or even knew who we were going to see. I remember being very timid while the elderly gentleman welcomed us in. I still remember the house looked as if no one lived there. No pictures, no tree, no trinkets. I remember with tears in my eyes that we sat and visited that man for almost two hours!! As we walked home I asked why we had gone to seen that man and my father explained that this gentleman had no family to be with this Christmas and we needed to share our family time with him. My heart is still full as I remember a letter my dad had shared with me later that year. It was from the gentleman's son stating that he was so grateful for us. See his father had come to that home that year to say goodbye. His son had tried to get him to come to their home for the season but the father had refused and the son was worried. Our simple visit brought the joy of the season back to that gentleman and he soon visited his son and his family. The elderly gentleman passed away one evening short after seeing his family. That is when I learned the meaning of charity.

I now carry that tradition on with my children. We give neighbor plate and Christmas plates, and my favorite Candy Cane bread:) This website has a few of the idea's I love using. Well may your heart be full this giving season.

Tree Cutting #2

So as I left you we had gotten out Christmas tree! We got it in the house, barely, and got it up. Well to tell this story right I must tell you that the tree WAS a good looking HUGE tree. It fell down the first night! Then it fell the second afternoon!!. We were pretty frustrated but I got it back up ONE MORE TIME! and it stayed for a whole day and a half so we started decorating:)

Well as we started singing and putting ornaments on and enjoying the Holiday time..................

It fell for it's last time!!! Scared all of us to death. The kids were crying  and all I could do was laugh. Laugh at how some tree's just aren't cut out to be a Christmas tree:)

Needless to say my Husband had had enough and he decided that we needed to get a NEW TREE. So he started cutting. I thought he would just cut a few off so we could get it outside but he kept cutting and cutting!!

And soon we were left with this. A sad Charlie Brown looking tree. I suggested that we keep the poor thing so kids started decorating. My husband was so mad at that tree that he couldn't have it in the house any more. So it is waiting to be used as fire wood this summer:)

As for our NEW Christmas tree it cost a pretty penny but is beautiful and just big and full enough to handle our Christmas! My your Christmas season have wonderful memories that you and your children will remember and hold dear to their hearts!

Wonda Wedge/Book Wedge

WondaWedge & BookWedge Giveaway Dec 18-21, 2012

Bringing A Holiday To You
WondaWedge and bookwedge
Sponsored by WondaWedge Featured by Celebrate Woman Today
So this giveaway is JUST in time for Christmas. Do you need a Unique Holiday Gift? A Gift the can be for either a man or woman?  How about a WONDAWEDGE!! These things would even be useful for my kids.  I love all kinds of gifts. Sometimes "white elephants" are more precious than anything else! As we become more experienced with the years of living and tending to the needs of others, I skew towards those unique gifts that could be useful in the lives of those to whom they go. Working a gazillion of hours in front of the computer screen, I know first-hand how tense those neck muscles could become. With tensity come headaches and a bunch of lost time of not being productive. That is why when I see products targeting those sensitive to me areas, I am always willing to test them and see if they could be practical enough for my lifestyle. This Holiday Season, I discovered WondaWedgeI've taken this versatile lounger with me to the beach, to the local concert on the grass, and used it in the comfort of my home reading magazines and watching movies. I love this inflatable shapely pillow for its truly Wonder-ful effect on my body. Lower back and neck muscles stay relatively relaxed and not overworked. And the ease of caring for this lounger is easy. Light and very soft to the touch. This is a truly unique and useful gift idea, at least by me.
Want to join a happy crowd with relaxed backs and necks? Here's what we are giving as prizes in today's giveaway event.
WondaWedge, $25 Value

Inspiring Child's Program

As a parent you want nothing but the best for your child. When that certain child starts to doubt themselves or become pulled down with the negative it can be very hard to help them back up. To get a child to truly understand that they are amazing and can to do amazing things is hard.
Complete Child Development 1.1 is here to help you to understand how to help your child. The best thing is that you do it together. This program is backed by Dr. Sue, a renowned Child Psychologist and a leading expert in the field of child advocacy. CCD Program 1.1 is based on the teachings of the famous book and inspirational movie “The Secret”. Now if you are not familiar with "The Secret" please go find it. My mother introduced it to me a couple years ago and I have loved it's inspiration daily.

My daughter has struggled since she entered school and last year she came home upset because she was "stupid". I felt horrible  She was NOT stupid. She was just a little behind. She was a child that wasn't low enough to get help but not high enough to get praised. I tried to get with teachers and faculty and programs to help me figure out where she was getting lost and how I could help her achieve her goal of "reading like Natalie".  Now Natalie (names were changed) was a girl in her class that had a third grade reading level in First grade so I knew that my daughter had set a very high goal for herself. I tried to inspire her and help her understand that everyone learns differently but it only got worse and there was NO outside help.

So we moved and thought that we would help her out a little and hold her in First grade. New people, new friends, and new teacher we thought would give her a lift from the old.  At first she pushed everything and everyone away. She wanted the old stuff and it was awful!! Then I found this program and was praying for the chance to review it! When I saw that I chosen I was ecstatic. Finally a chance to help my daughter.

I couldn't believe the change after we watched just the first video. She was so excited that she used five pages thinking of things she could be and do. She would come home and do another lesson everyday!! Needless to say she has changed and for the positive. He teacher has even asked if we has done something different with her to bring this confidence out in her. All I told her was "You have to check this program out."  She couldn't believe it. That a simple program like this could make such a big difference. So if you are experiencing some difficulty with your child I would suggest the CCD Program 1.1 because it has changed our lives! This program usually retails for $87 but to help save a little cash on your Holiday budget the price has been temporarily cut 25% off  to$67! You can purchase the program HERE

Be sure to stay up to date on sales, deals and latest updates by following them on Facebook,Twitter, and YouTube

Tree Cutting

My first favorite Christmas Tradition is cutting down the tree!!  My family started this when I was just a little girl. We would all get bundles up and venture out into the forest and pick the best tree. Most years my mother would pick and when she was unable my father. But our senior year in High School was our turn to use what we had learned from the "Master". I remember looking ALL YEAR LONG for the tree I wanted. Well of course I could never cut the tree's I saw from the road!! We learn well and now continue to carry on this tradition.  Over Thanksgiving my family and I went out and found five Christmas tree's for most of my family. We decided to get our own later since we had a good eight hour drive home!!

And so started our adventure.......

I am used to having a great selection of tree's to choose from. When we moved we had a VERY little selection to choose from. I first got information that the two tree's that I got to choose from was the Rocky Mountain Juniper and the Ponderosa Pine (which has a good six inch needle). Those ARE NOT Christmas tree tree's!!!!
So we went off to find our tree.

                                                    So we searched..

And searched!

And FINALLY four hours later we found one....

We thought!!!
