Rachel and the TreeSchoolers

Oh my, I think Santa will be delivering this full video set to my house. My blogger friend was so jealous that I got this to review because she loved Rachel from her previous work. And needless to day  I was just amazed. All three of my children, ages 7-3, stared! They loved the characters and since my oldest is scared of lighting and thunder it was perfect.  Well I figured that if my kids loved it so much then lets try it on others. So I took it with me to visit family.

My sister-in-law majored in sign language and I thought she would be a wonderful help in letting me know about the signing and age appropriate signing. And so we watched. My oldest (age7) watched for a couple minutes and then left but she HAD watched it several times before. I had 2 two year old  1 three year old, and 1 five year old. The two year old's did well. There was enough change in the show that they watched good for about 15 minutes. The other two watched the whole time. It was great they would get up and dance. They were concerned that Abacus Finch was scared. This program is wonderful. My sister-in-law had recognized Rachel from her Signing Time series. She said that, "everything was right on. The signs were easy and the songs that incorporated them were great." She did mention that she would have liked a little more review of the signs. One of my sisters said the itsy bitsy spider song was her favorite and would be purchasing the DVD for her two boys. This DVD set comes with the DVD and a song disc. For preschool fun it would be a great thing to get the kids involved in learning and moving their bodies at the same time. I do believe that the kids had a great time learning about Thunder and Lightening and getting to know the TreeSchoolers but here's a video for you to decide for yourself.
Rachel and the TreeSchoolers are here to stay! At least in my house!
 How about yours?
